Classes are held
in Tap/Jazz, Lyrical, Ballet, Pointe, Acrobatics, Hip-Hop, Ballroom, and
Adult Tap/Jazz. Classes are one hour in length, except Pointe, which is
a half hour. Registration for classes can be done by calling the dance
centre or by coming to the dance centre during operation hours. A one
time only registration fee is charged to each student who enrolls for
classes.
Your child will be required to have dance shoes and proper attire by their
fourth lesson. Shoes and dance attire can be purchased in our Z Dance
Store. If you purchase elsewhere, please make sure your child's teacher
approves of the shoes before using them in case they need to be returned
due to wrong style, color or durability.
Please bring this paper to our Z Dance Store when you are ready to purchase
your child's shoes. The shoes needed for class will be highlighted. In
addition, all female students are advised to wear leg warmers to keep
their muscles warm, therefore, allowing their legs to be more flexible.
Tights must be worn with shorts and leotards. Finally, ZDC is adamant
about all female students wearing their HAIR UP IN ALL CLASSES AT ALL
TIMES. We will not supply elastics please keep extra elastics in your
child's dance bag.
